In the wake of Hurricane Ian’s devastation in Southwest Florida in September 2022, founders Roger Linde and Terry Witcher envisioned a beacon of hope and connectivity. This manifested in an innovative online platform designed to seamlessly connect individuals with local businesses for services, while simultaneously contributing to humanitarian and animal welfare efforts. Born from Linde’s lifelong commitment to aiding the underprivileged, whether human or animal, the People and Pets Network initiative seeks to offer a triple-win scenario benefiting customers, businesses, and nonprofits alike. This platform stands out not just for its noble cause, but also for its user-friendly approach. For example, customers seeking to install ceiling fans can effortlessly find and choose the right electrician for the job, simplifying what often can be a daunting task. Beyond its operational ease, People and Pets Network is distinguished by its employee ownership model, fostering a team spirit and shared mission to make meaningful community contributions. People and Pets Network promises a future where every service transaction enriches lives, highlighting our founding vision of a world where community and compassion go hand in hand.

At People and Pets Network, we have established a triple-win scenario for consumers, businesses, and non-profits. The platform is FREE for consumers and non-profits, with a minimal $5 fee per category/county for service businesses allocated towards driving consumers to the platform. Thereby increasing visibility and potential customers for those businesses. The platform provides non-profits a unique opportunity to reach a wider audience and attract more support. Our revenue is generated from Preferred Sponsors who advertise with us, and a portion of that will be reinvested into the local community to address humanitarian needs.
